We believe that a successful business is a responsible business. Verve Veneer is a division of Hallmark Group, a 100% New Zealand-owned company. Our core business is the conversion of timber into veneer panel and doors for the architectural design and construction sectors. Hallmark Group produces the only Green Tag certified doors in New Zealand.
Veneered panel is an incredibly efficient way to utilise wood, with 1m3 of timber producing close to 1000m2 of veneer.
Timber is an excellent environmental choice, being a renewable, natural material that contains stored carbon for the length of time it is in use.

Hallmark Group is committed to the responsible use of resources. Our manufacturing operation carries out thorough sorting and recycling processes to minimise material sent to landfill.
All our veneers are from environmentally responsible suppliers. We source FSC-certified New Zealand made MDF board and use non-hazardous PVA adhesives.
Our NZ native veneer is from MPI-approved sustainably harvested supply.
Our exotic veneers are predominantly sourced from Australia and South Africa. Our supply partners in turn source from America and Europe. Global certifications ensure legal & sustainable supply – our overseas sources carry a mixture of PEFC, FSC, EcoCert and AFS certifications.
Environmental Policy Statement
We acknowledge that our business has an impact on the environment and are committed to managing and reducing that impact through the adoption of our environmental policy. To this end we have implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS) to provide a structure for improving our environmental performance. The emphasis of our EMS is on continual review and improvement.
